North Carolina woman wins $100,000 after buying lottery ticket at store

LINCOLNTON, N.C. (WGHP) -- Tawanna Croker, of Raeford, bought a $1 Cash 5 ticket and won a $100,000 jackpot, according to an NC Education Lottery news release.

Croker bought her winning Quick Pick ticket from the Kingsway on North Aspen Street in Lincolnton.

She matched all five white balls in Saturday’s drawing to win the jackpot.

Croker arrived at lottery headquarters Tuesday to collect her prize.

After required state and federal tax withholdings, she took home $71,250.
