GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The left lane of Interstate 40 East is closed following a crash on Wednesday, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred at Mile Marker 216 near Exit 216 for Patterson Street, a route commonly taken to get to the Greensboro Coliseum.
The closure began at 4:22 p.m. and is expected to last until around 5:47 p.m. The anticipated impact on traffic is high.
