MAYODAN, N.C. (WGHP) -- Dalton McMichael High School in Mayodan is on lockdown after school officials received a "concerning call," according to a DMHS Facebook post.
All students are safe.
The school's full statement is provided below:
"We are currently on lockdown at Dalton McMichael High School. Everyone is safe. We received a concerning call and are currently working with the Sheriffs Department. All students are safe. We ask for no visitors to come to our building at this time until the lockdown is lifted. As soon as we have an update and can lift the lockdown we will notify you. Safety is our top priority for all students and staff and we appreciate your support!"
