THOMASVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) -- A busy highway was shut down Tuesday morning after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
The Northbound lanes of Highway 29/70 in Thomasville have reopened near Albertson Road.
First responders on the scene confirmed a person was hit by a car early Tuesday morning but didn't say how seriously that person was hurt.
The highway is reopened now.
