How old cell phones are helping the North Carolina Zoo save gorillas

ASHEBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The population of gorillas has declined dramatically in the last 50 years.

The great apes are now critically endangered, but there are efforts underway to save the species including programs at the North Carolina Zoo.

You can help just by donating your old cell phone. It's a program called Gorillas on the Line.

Shannon Smith has details in today's Zoo Filez.
