Students sent home due to air conditioning failures at Jamestown Middle School

JAMESTOWN, N.C. (WGHP) -- A Guilford County middle school has been forced to close due to the heat.

Jamestown Middle School dismissed students for the day due to air conditioning failures causing high temperatures in the building.

According to the superintendent at a recent school board meeting, they have over 500 work orders pertaining to HVAC issues in Guilford County.
